A Persian Malayer with eye-catching motifs and a highly sought-after palette. Midnight blue, warm sand and browns are punctuated by accents of light pink and khaki, making it a veritable feast for the eyes. 

Malayer is a village in North West Iran that is famed for producing small rugs and runners. Malayer rugs were made by Turkish Persian communities using a Turkish knotting technique. They contain some of the most beautiful and interesting motifs of all Persian rugs.  

This rug is in excellent condition with even wear consistent with age and low pile.
